As seen on "At Your Service" on RTE, Lough Key House is a small but beautiful 200 year old Georgian Period house in Boyle, Co. Roscommon, Ireland. It is run by Frances McDonagh who offers it's six bedrooms to welcome guests.



  • All rooms are individually decorated and furnished with period style furniture. 
  • It is set on eleven acres of paddocks, orchard and gardens. The Rose Garden beside the house is a lovely place to enjoy tea and home baking on warm summer evenings. 
  • Dinner available on Saturday night upon request. 
  • Directions:-Lough Key House is located on the N4. It's black iron double gated entrance is immediately to the west of the entrance to Lough Key Forest Park. It is 5km from Boyle and 10km from Carrick-on-Shannon. It is 130km from Dublin and 45km from Sligo by road.
